Trump told reporters on Tuesday that he was confident the Russian government had no intention of interfering in the US presidential election.
Trump also said he would consider pardoning former President Joe Biden if he dies before the 2020 election.
“I will consider a lot of things.
I’ve got to think of a lot,” Trump said.”
If Joe dies, I will consider,” Trump added.”
He was the vice president.
I don’t want to see Joe go in that chair.”
Biden, who has not been seen in public since last week, is believed to be in the process of being removed from office.
The White House said the president-elect would make a decision on whether to nominate Biden for a second term as president in the next few days.
