The mobile photo app Instagram is now available in the Apple App Store.
The app is the latest move in a growing trend to offer the ability to delete apps on smartphones.
Instagram CEO Kevin Systrom said the new app lets users delete an app without having to download it to their device.
“With this new feature, Instagram will be able to delete the apps that are already on the device and replace them with apps that they already own or use on their phones,” Systrom wrote in a blog post.
Users can sign up for a new account to delete an existing app.
The feature is currently available in iOS and Android apps.
Instagram announced the app on Friday and said it will launch to the public next week.
